ISS manages an inventory of over 1600 pieces of audio visual and presentation equipment. The focus is to support classroom instruction on campus, as well as assist instructors in using emerging technologies to enhance classroom instruction. Faculty may schedule much of this equipment for delivery. Please note some resources are limited and may be procured only by sign out from the ITMS office. 

Sign out loans are made by reservation on a first-come, first-serve basis from our inventory of:

• Digital Still Cameras*
• XGA LCD projectors*
• Overhead projectors
• DVD Players
• 35mm slide projectors
• VHS players
• VHS Camcorder*
• Mini-DV Digital Video Camera*
• Notebook PCs*
• Portable Zip Drives for above*
• ... plus many other conventional A/V systems

* these items require faculty or advisor approval for student use. Tapes and disks are not supplied for cameras, but are available for purchase.

ITMS requires a minimum of 48 hours notice for regular equipment delivery requests, and 24 hours for sign-out requests.
Special Event requests (conferences, symposiums...) require a minimum of one week notice.

All regular requests should be submitted by using our online request system at http://itms-request.njit.edu. If a request can not be entered online, please send an e-mail to itms@njit.edu and we will notify you if we can accommodate your request.

In addition, other resources are available to students, faculty, and staff in the our Instructional Resource Center Lab with prior arrangement. These resources are provided as PC peripherals and include such items as:

• Flatbed, photo & negative scanners
• Portable dvd drives
• Card readers (for Memory Sticks, Compact Flash cards etc.)
