The
Master Control Room is the heart of video delivery at NJIT.
This distribution facility allows signals to be switched between
the various on and off-campus locations connected to it, including
GITC rooms 1403, 1402, 1400, NJCMR, CATV, a satellite receiver,
microwave transmitter, Webcaster server and the Bell Atlantic
IDLS. This enables the university to transmit and receive signals
from a number of other colleges, high schools, corporations
and even private residences.
The
Television Production Studio and Master Control room is a 1150
sq. ft. facility equipped with three cameras, titling and graphics,
online and offline editing facilities, audio mixing, telephone
and fax lines. It is utilized as a controlled facility for
distance learning course production and for traditional video
production.
